2018 SAFF Championship
Bangladesh will host the
2018 edition of South Asian football championship. An executive committee
meeting, presided by BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, of the South Asian Football
Federation (SAFF) on August 27 in Kathmandu also decided to hold elections to a
new executive body in Dhaka.
The congress meeting
agreed on a SAFF Championship 2018 schedule for September 4-15, 2018.The draw
of the 2018 SAFF Championship will be held on March 3, 2018 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The congress election
will be held the following day on March 4.The congress agreed a number of SAFF
events for 2018 including U15 Women’s Championship, U18 Women’s Championship,
Senior Women’s Championship, U-15 Championship and Championship.
This will be the 3rd
time that Bangladesh will host, after victory in the 2003 edition and semifinalists
in 2009.
