Head Coach Luis Norton de Matos named his list of 23 for India’s campaign in the AFC U-19 Qualifiers to be held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Matos picked his squad after a week-long camp in the Capital which is a mix of India’s U-17 World Cup squad and India’s U-19 team which played in the SAFF U-19 Championship in Bhutan. India are scheduled to play Qatar U-19 in a friendly match in Doha on October 25 as part of their preparation for the AFC Qualifiers. Besides hosts Saudi Arabia, India have been clubbed with Yemen and Turkmenistan in Group D and play their first match against Saudi Arabia on November 4. The 12th G.V. Raja all-India football tournament will be held at the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium here from October 23 to November 5. 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup :  A second hat-trick in as many matches from Rhian Brewster led England into the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 after a 3-1 victory over Brazil in Kolkata on Wednesday. Indian Super league newly introduced club Bengaluru FC played friendly patch against Kolkata giant East Bengal today morning (25 October 2017) at the Kanteerava Stadium. In the fourth friendly match FC Goa beat the Spain club CD Algar Deportivo by 3:1. The Indian Super League club FC Goa started the game strongly and looked very comfortable in possession. They bombed forward with relative ease but were unable to create too many clear cut goal scoring chances. Lanzarote had the ball in the net in the 14th minute but the goal was ruled out for offside. Against the run of play, Algar found themselves a goal to the good after a tackle from Seriton Ferandes inside the area. The referee promptly awarded a penalty and Algar were ahead. Sergio Lobera’s charges pushed hard to find an equalizer before the end of the first period but were unable to do so as the opposition held out for a half-time lead.
