The Kyrgyzstan Republic are not falling prey to 100-ranked
India who are vying to play their first home match in the AFC Asian Cup UAE
2019 Qualifiers at home. The Kyrgyzstan Republic Team who have come to India with a
win against Macau in their opener at home declared that they are the “favorites”
in the match.
Kyrgyzstan Republic coach Alexander Krestinin sounded
confident, saying: "We're here to get a win. We won't be satisfied with a
draw. We are the favorites in the group.”
On being asked whether their preparation ahead
of the enticing tie is satisfactory, he quipped: "Yes, we're ready. We
know that India will be a tough nut to crack at their home. Their defence is
very strong. But we're well prepared to upset them."
"India are playing
smart football recently. Getting good results always gives you confidence. It's
the 21st century and everyone has the information about their opponent. We are
well prepared for them and hope there will be a good fight tomorrow,” he added.
The team from Central
Asia didn't play many matches of let but their coach is not going to get
deterred by that. "It's true that we
didn't play many matches recently. But my boys play in Europe and all are in
good condition. We just need to execute our plans on the pitch to get the
result."
