Hero Indian Super League: Newly formed team Jamshedpur FC head coach, Steve Coppell, is hoping to continue making his mark in the Hero Indian Super League.

Coppell Said “Well, My intention is to build something which is unique to Jamshedpur. It’s obviously a unique football club – a new franchise, a new name, a new beginning!

“It’s the intention not only of me, but also everybody – the support staff, the staff around, the players who are coming in. It’s an exciting new journey for them. Everybody has the intention of being successful.

“It’s a question of bringing it all together. And we have got a lot of hard work to do between now and the start of the season but everyone I think has an appetite to do that.

When asked about the fans support, Coppell said “We want a fan base that is for sure. We want people to come out; we want people to be enthused about supporting their local team.

“We need as many people as possible to come and watch all our home games, make as much noise as you can, because it makes a difference.

“We have eleven players on the pitch. We could have twelve players if the crowd are actively involved by making as much noise as possible, giving as much support as possible, and the twelve players in our team can make a difference!”
